You can make a good guess on which bags are doing well at Celine (or at any designer brand out there, for that matter) by seeing it make a return in new interpretations season after season. The Vertical Cabas is one such design, having won the fans over with its streamlined silhouette that’s equal parts chic and functional. Use its two top handles to carry it like a tote, or just attach the adjustable leather strap whenever you need a hands-free bag. Then there’s the roomy interior that’s sufficiently sized to hold all your essentials, which is always a good thing.

For Fall-Winter 2020, the bag returns in a checkered textile print and finished with the CELINE PARIS embroidery on the front. Embroidered elements and the use of materials (such as canvas, fabric, textile and so on) are still on trend for the season, with the generous size (32 cm by 29 cm ) allowing you to use it on days when you need your laptop by your side, without the need for an additional tote.

The Small Vertical Cabas (SGD2450) was spotted at the Celine boutique in Takashimaya Shopping Centre, but you can always swing by Marina Bay Sands to have a look as well. The pairing of brown textile and tan leather trimmings makes for the perfect combination of old-meets-new. You can picture it as the best accompaniment for days when you are wearing a broad-brimmed hat, pleated blouse and a pair of skinny jeans, which is what Hedi Slimane has imagined for the French luxury house.
