Because more time is now spent indoors, Loewe’s latest Plant-Based Home Scents collection has come at the right time as you scent your space by bringing the garden to you. The range is inspired by the feeling of living in close proximity to nature, and is an idea based on Creative Director Jonathan Anderson’s personal experiences and passion for gardens, plants and unique olfactory experiences.
Part-botanical and part-apothecary, the line of 11 alluring plant essences is developed by the Spanish luxury house’s in-house perfumer Nuria Cruelles. Each scent is symbolised by the plant’s flower and colour to evoke raw, earthy delights of a vegetable garden. Choose from luscious pea, beetroot, cypress bell, honeysuckle, ivy, oregano, coriander and tomato leaves, just to name a few.
Each scent takes the form of room sprays (SGD140), room diffuser sets (SGD350, with refills from SGD140) that are housed in glass bottles with anagram-embossed calfskin caps, as well as wax candleholders (SGD120) and candles in 3 sizes (SGD120, SGD250 and SGD520 for Small, Medium and Large), which are all created with wax derived from natural ingredients.
The house’s on-going engagement with the tactile pleasures of ceramics can also be seen through its hand-crafted candles, which are housed in modern ribbed Greek-inspired drinking vessels, making it an aesthetically pleasing collection that will surely elevate any space. The New Plant-Based Home Scents collection is now available from Loewe Paragon, and online via Loewe’s e-commerce site, with the full range showcased at the new Casa Loewe ION Orchard flagship that’s slated to open later in the year.

I’m looking forward to smell them! I’m also glad to know about the new store in Singapore. For a Loewe fan like me, this is also good news!
