The cool carryall is not considered a handbag at Hermès, but rather one that’s designed to hold everything from boots and brushes to saddles, making it easier for riders to carry their equestrian equipment back in the day.

Over time, it was updated with fancier elements and a refurbished silhouette, so modern-day gentlemen (and women) have started it using it as a large tote for the everyday, be it as a diaper bag, an oversized gym bag or a holdall for weekend staycations.
