Dior continues to push the envelope for its Lady Dior family of bags, having introduced the same-but-different Lady D-Lite back in Spring-Summer 2020, as well as the new velvet versions that have recently arrived in stores for the season. These bags all come in medium (which some of you absolutely swear by), measuring 24 cm by 20 cm that’s honestly a great size that can take you from day to night in no time at all.

Now, because it can get confusing having two different names (even though they feature pretty much the same silhouette), this post will cover both the Lady Dior and Lady D-Lite, along with colours and prices that have recently been updated in Singapore. The term Lady Dior is pretty much kept for bags that come in full leather, especially the ones that feature the beautiful Cannage stitching on plush lambskin leather. This season welcomes brand new colours like Dark Denim and Mallow Rose (SGD7100), both coming with a thin, adjustable and removable strap to convert it into a shoulder bag in double time.

As for Lady D-Lite, you will find that it typically comes in lightweight materials such as canvas and velvet, meant to be a casual alternative to its full leather counterparts. It also comes with stripes at the back to allow you to customise your handbag with extra initials, a unique feature which cannot be found on the Lady Dior. Today, you will find the Lady D-Lite (SGD6400) in the new Denim Blue hue, giving you even more options alongside classic colours such as Beige, Black, and Grey. As for the embroidered velvet versions (SGD7100), there are colours such as Blue, Burgundy and Green, subject to availability in the boutiques at ION Orchard, Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Shopping Centre.

Whether you’re going for the Lady Dior or the Lady D-Lite, you can count on both designs to remain classics that will withstand the test of time. After all, it has been around some 25 years since its launch back in 1995.
