Louis Vuitton has been steadily releasing its highly anticipated collections in seasonal drops, and this week’s spotlight is all about the LV² collection Wave 2, which will be launching exclusively in-store at their Takashimaya Shopping Centre boutique on 28 August 2020. You can expect to find a whole new set of bags, SLGs, shoes and RTW (all different from Wave 1), ranging from the highly coveted Double Phone Pouch (SGD2220) and Mini Soft Trunk (SGD4950) to several keychains modelled after Human Made’s signature Duck and Mountain Bear motifs. You will also notice that Wave 2’s RTW takes a different direction, with a sharper focus on tailoring evident in button jackets and cigarette pants which feature the oversized Damier check. Another unique piece includes the LV Mountain Aviator Blouson, a flight jacket bearing the Louis Vuitton graphic nestled amongst the clouds, with the iconic Mount Fuji included as well.

If you love accessorising with fun fashion jewellery, there’s a pretty good selection in silver, all decorated with strass for an extra dose of sparkle and shine. Prices start from SGD980 for the Double Ring, going up to SGD1090 for the Cuff Bracelet and SGD2070 for the statement-making Necklace. Now, back to the bags proper, you can look out for the Amazone Sling Bag (SGD2940) which is likened to the Nano Amazone Messenger (except this one comes with a top zip opening), along with ‘bigger’ designs such as the Mini Tote (SGD3600) and Christopher PM (SGD4750), both of which are large enough for the everyday.

Louis Vuitton has also announced that they will be bringing in previously sold out items from Wave 1, so that’s excellent news for those who missed out earlier in June. In other words, time to head down on Friday from 10 in the morning just so that you can view the entire collection in person, because nothing beats seeing everything up close.
