While this isn’t the first time Hermès has dedicated a scarf to Singapore, this could be the first time our island’s flora and fauna have been depicted so vividly on a 90 by 90 silk square. With hand-rolled edges, this design by artist Alice Shirley has the mythical lion presented front and centre, an homage to Singapore and our Sanskrit name meaning ‘The City of the Lion’. Surrounding it are animals you’ll still find on the island today, including bats, greater mouse-deer, leopard cats and Malayan civets, even otters.
Available in three colour combinations, the one in Rose/Vert/Bordeaux is sold out online, but you can pick up the one in Bleu Royal/Gold/Bleu Marine online now via Hermès USA. Priced at SGD630 each, the price is pretty decent for such a large silk square, and one that can be worn a multitude of ways, yet thin enough to beat Singapore’s perpetual humidity of late.

Hi, there is nothing to be found on Hermes Singapore website…
That just means it is already sold out. Stay tuned and see if they get restocked in the coming weeks.
