Some of the more recent designs include the Alto Hatbox and the Petite Flot, along with the luxurious Minaudière Clutch which is essentially a hard-sided trunk box because it comes with a structured wooden frame. And Goyard has pushed that envelope even further by elevating its classic watchcase into a gorgeous handbag, armed with a solid top handle and elongated shoulder strap so that it can be carried for the everyday.

Named the Regina, the boxy bag opens to the brand’s signature mustard yellow lining, with a spacious compartment that’s comfortably sized for several bits and bobs. On the exterior you will find a solid leather panel on one side and the unmistakable Goyardine canvas on the other, both coming together to form a seamless design that gives you two different looks for the price of one.

The Regina is finished with an exquisite lock mechanism that’s commonly found on its watchcases, and if you need extra security, lock it up with the accompanying key and you’re good to go. The bag only comes in three options for now, with Black and Black/Tan priced at SGD6890 each, while Grey comes in slightly higher at SGD8960.

Famously known for being an elusive brand that does not have an online presence, the only way you can purchase any of their bags would be over at the standalone boutique in Takashimaya Shopping Centre. Skip getting another canvas tote in a new colour and go for something special like the Regina, especially if there’s a milestone moment you want to celebrate soon.
