French perfumery Diptyque may be better known for its scented candles, but it also has an equally indulgent range of fragranced body care products and skincare that are worth having on your radar. Named L’Art Du Soin, the sensorial collection is a delightful respite from long days and is one that encourages you to carve out a little time for yourself.

Its gentle skincare line-up of cleansers, moisturisers, a lip balm and a face mask has been slowly infused with active plant molecules to stimulate the senses through its signature fragrances and transformative textures. Take, for example, its Nourishing Cleansing Balm that evolves into an oil and then a lotion, or its Radiance Boosting Powder that transforms into fluffy foam.

Its latest launch, the Infused Face Serum (SGD105) is equally exceptional. The serum is served in a solid stick, like a chubby lip balm, which goes on as a layer of freshness on skin. Brimming with antioxidant-rich jasmine flower and regenerating jojoba wax, it aims to replenish, smooth and illuminate the complexion. To use, simply massage the stick all over the face, working outwards in small circular motions. No fuss, no mess and perfect for the hand-carry when you can travel again. A tip? Store it in the refrigerator before application for an invigorating face treat.

You’ll also want to keep an eye out for its new hand care drops that will make all that incessant washing less of a chore. For starters, there’s the mild and repairing Softening Hand Wash (SGD89 for 350 ml) with lavender and rosemary floral water for a gentle and moisturising cleanse. For a once daily mild scrub, there’s an Exfoliating Hand Wash (SGD89 for 350 ml) with ground olive stones to purify. And to nourish after, the airy-light Velvet Hand Lotion (SGD89 for 350 ml) that wraps hands in sheer comfort and the regenerative properties of the golden immortelle flower. It is also worth noting that these formulas all come in aesthetically pleasing refillable glass pump containers that double up as decorative items for the bathroom.

The L’Art Du Soin collection is available at Diptyque boutiques at Takashimaya S.C and Robinsons The Heeren, as well as escentials at Paragon and Tangs at Tang Plaza, as well as online via Escentials.com.
