Maria Grazia Chiuri has a magical ability in reinterpreting tie-dye, creating the hypnotising Kaleidoscopic print for Spring-Summer 2019 and unveiling the latest Tie & Dior embroidery on a series of bags like the 30 Montaigne Box Bag and Book Tote for Fall-Winter 2020. While you’re already familiar with the horizontal Book Tote that’s on most everybody’s arm these days, you might want to check out the vertical silhouette that’s making a return this season.
It was briefly introduced last year in the limited-edition Tarot Toile de Jouy print, but this year, you will find 2 beautiful combinations of Blue and Green multicolour tie-dye motifs that will instantly brighten up your mood for the day. The Vertical Book Tote is slightly bigger for the 2020 edition, measuring 39 cm tall and 20.5 cm, which is a great size for the everyday. This size is especially great for the ladies who have trouble finding their essentials within the horizontal Book Tote, with the vertical version having a compact shape that will keep everything easily within eye’s view. It’s also less bulky overall, and you don’t have to worry about smacking someone by accident.
The Tie & Dior motif is one of the key prints of the season, joining the likes of Around The World and Rosa Mutablisis, which are all available in Singapore right now. As for the Vertical Book Tote, the bags are coming soon, and you should always indicate your interest right now. Both colours are bold, vibrant and will appeal to the ladies looking for a different direction for their Book Tote bags.
