Coach Abstract Horse & Carriage Hutton Saddle Bag

Coach has collaborated with graphic artist Guang Yu and art students Li Ruosi and Tanqian for its latest China Collective capsule line, and you will find reimagined versions of the Horse & Carriage motif on a selection of bags for men and women. The Hutton, in particular, makes a return in the series, now appearing in a brand new format that will hold way more items than the initial chain-sling design modelled by Jennifer Lopez earlier this year. You can say that the Hutton has officially earned its status as the next ‘rising star’ of the house, thanks to the constant introduction of all-new silhouettes and alternatives that are equal parts fun and functional.

A roomy bag that will hold plenty of daily essentials (especially important if you find yourself bringing out extra masks/sanitisers/wipes ‘just in case’), this 20 cm by 18 cm Hutton Saddle Bag rendition features the Coach Signature coated-canvas decorated with an abstract Horse & Carriage print, paired with refined calf leather for a lovely contrast. Each bag comes with two compartments (the central interior and an expandable pocket) as well as an inner zip pocket to keep everything neatly in place.

There are no prizes for guessing how you should carry the bag. Sling it easily over the shoulder or across the body for a hands-free look, with the 54.5 cm drop length being an appropriate size that will look equally good on the boys as well. Thanks to the powers of online shopping, you can now get your hands on Coach’s Hutton Saddle Bag (SGD750) via LazMall, but if you prefer to do it the traditional way, you can always find it at the boutiques in Marina Bay Sands and Wisma Atria.

And should you fancy full leather versions in the exact silhouette, you can opt for the pieces in Blue and Taupe, priced slightly lower at SGD695 each, but if you want the limited-edition bag then go for the abstract Horse & Carriage one, of course.
