How are you liking Celine’s smashing new handbag, the Ava? Word has it that the coveted design was snapped up even during Singapore’s CB period, but the good news is that you can still get your hands on one at the boutiques located in Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Shopping Centre. If you missed out on the post last month, here’s a quick recap of 5 things you have to know about the bag.

01 – The Ava bag is inspired by a vintage design taken from Celine’s archives, and if you need an actual reference, you can Google Lisa (from Blackpink, of course) carrying one back in 2019. This all-new version, however (which also has Lisa wearing it), comes in Celine’s Triomphe Canvas, featuring a reprised print inspired by the chains circling the Arc de Triomphe.

02 – For those who love exclusive designs, the Ava bag is only available in Asia, so you won’t be able to find it in America or Europe, which is perfect for those who want a bag that’s a tad more special.

03 – The bag is meant to be carried in a single way, slung casually over the shoulder for a chic and carefree look. Again, if you need a visual of it being carried, just look up.

04 – The 23 cm by 14 cm bag is only available in one size, for now, furnished with a tan leather strap that’s adjustable to 3 different lengths. Short, shorter or shortest, all best worn over the shoulder or carried by hand.

05 – At SGD1700 each, the Ava bag is a pretty well-priced bag for what it’s worth, and it comes in a classic design that definitely withstands seasons and trends. If you weren’t a fan previously, do a second take and ask yourself, ‘how you like’ bag now?
