Fauré Le Page is proving that it’s no longer a one-trick pony with its signature Daily Battle tote, a design that’s unanimously voted as the ‘go-to favourite’ amongst fans of the brand. Led by Artistic Director Augustin de Buffevent, they have been pushing the boundaries with all-new designs like the Hands On (a fun crossbody bag), along with a bevy of coin (cheekily referred to as the Condom Case in Paris) and card cases that are always snapped up the moment they are made available in stores.
The list does not stop there, as Fauré Le Page believes in constantly keeping up with the changing tastes of the modern-day woman, having recently introduced the Calibre Soft line that’s a less structured (and some say, casual) version of the classic Calibre bag. There are two sizes to look out for, starting with the Calibre Soft 17 that comes with a single fuss-free compartment, before moving up to the bigger Calibre Soft 20.
Essentially two bags merged into one, the Calibre Soft 20 comprises a smaller pouch in front, furnished with its own top zip closure and a gun-shaped pocket that will hold a couple of bits and bobs. The second pouch is slightly wider and taller at 19 cm by 14.5 cm, great for keeping a couple of essentials like antibacterial wet wipes, #iPhone11ProMax, sunglasses and the like. It also comes finished with a top handle that gives it extra points in terms of versatility, along with a removable leather strap.
And as far as colours go, there seems to be just one for now, featuring a mix of Steel Grey Ecailles canvas and black leather. The bag will be arriving at the Fauré Le Page boutique in Takashimaya Shopping Centre in the coming weeks, so you can head down next week to leave your name if you’re keen on getting your hands on a piece.
