Bottega Veneta Body Pouch

Daniel Lee had a singular vision when he took over as Creative Director of Bottega Veneta, and that was believing in the idea of longevity rather than creating pieces that rode on hype and trend. He showed the fashion world a clever interpretation of the brand’s signature weave, while introducing a fresh and modern version of the Pouch that Lauren Hutton popularised when she carried it in American Gigolo. And clearly, he won the fans and critics over, taking home three accolades at the recent Fashion Awards held at The Royal Albert Hall for Accessories Designer of the Year, Designer of the Year and British Designer of the Year – Womenswear for the work he had done at Bottega Veneta.

The designer is also responsible for the menswear collection at BV, recently introducing an all-new bag that’s simply known as the Body Pouch made specially for the boys. It’s pretty obvious where the design inspiration came from, except this one’s equipped with an adjustable strap meant to be worn casually across the body. Offered in nylon, it is known for its lightweight qualities while being resistant to water. In other words, it’s perfect for those on the hunt for a fuss-free bag that’s all about the grab-and-go.

Measuring 30 cm wide and 12 cm high, the Body Pouch (SGD2720) is currently offered in colours like Black, Orange and Sand, with all three now available for sale via Bottega Veneta’s local online store. You can also call or WhatsApp the Singapore boutique at 9782-6596 to enquire more about the piece, and a SA will be on hand to show you close-up pics of the bag.
