Contemporary labels launched in the last year or so should take cues from Cult Gaia, one that achieved cult status (no pun intended) thanks to its game-changing Ark bag that was spotted all over Instagram when it was released back in 2017. One of these is the Dita Top Handle launched for Spring-Summer 2020, a boxy bag constructed from 100% bovine leather, armed with a rounded gold handle that makes for the perfect contrast against the white croc-embossed body. The bag can be carried for the day-to-day like an oversized clutch, or it can simply double up as a beautiful jewellery box sitting atop your vanity table. That’s because it opens via two snap closures at opposite sides, and you can literally pull them out like a drawer of sorts to keep your lovely trinkets within.
