New Balance has been stepping up its collaboration game of late, teaming up with famed Japanese designer Junya Watanabe, as well as Teddy Santis of Aimé Leon Dore with a drool-worthy selection of coveted kicks in refreshing new colours and interesting silhouettes. This April, they have pushed the boundaries even further with Casablanca, a French-Moroccan menswear label created by Charaf Tajer (previously at Pigalle) who introduced two exciting colours (Green and Moroccan Orange) for the chunky New Balance 327.

The green and orange hues are perhaps a nod to the clay and grass courts respectively, considering Casablanca’s capsule collection was an ode to vintage tennis clubs. Both colour combinations also feature a perforated white upper inspired by tennis uniforms, serving as the perfect neutral that balances the bold hues of Green and Moroccan Orange to perfection. The finishing touches include an oversized N found on the side, as well as the chunky sole which is especially important for those who love to feel elevated with every step.

And the kinds folks at Dover Street Market Singapore have announced that they will be releasing both colours on 18 April 2020 via their online store. Sizes will range from US7 to US12 and are priced at SGD189 each, which is pretty much a steal considering you’re getting a limited-edition piece that’s furnished with premium leather uppers and suede panel overlays.
