Longchamp Mini Top-Handle Bag

While the Nano Le Pliage pretty much stole the hearts of everyone watching Longchamp’s Spring-Summer 2020 show in September last year, today’s post is all about the bigger-sized Mini, a casual everyday bag that retains all the elements of the iconic Le Pliage line, made available in a miniaturised silhouette that’s very much on trend today.

Each bag is constructed from Metis leather, a combination of both goatskin and lambskin that’s soft and supple while scoring high points in terms of durability. As the material-of-choice for all the bags in the Le Pliage Cuir family, Metis leather allows them to be folded easily for storage; one of the key advantages of Longchamp’s bestselling origami-inspired line. And when it’s properly unfolded and fluffed up, the Mini Top-Handle Bag will be able to store a good day’s worth of essentials.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures, because this 17 cm by 14 cm wonder is guaranteed to hold loads within, considering it comes with a roomy depth of 10 cm that will fit everything from a compact wallet to a travel-sized hand sanitiser, amongst others. One of the great features of Longchamp’s Le Pliage line lies in its ease of use. The zippers are smooth and hardly get stuck (or jammed midway), while the small front flap gives an extra layer of ‘security’ when it’s snapped shut. The two top handles allow you to carry it like a dainty handbag or mini tote, while the removable shoulder strap can be attached for that cool crossbody look.

The best part? The choice of colours, of course. You will be pleased to find the Mini Top-Handle Bag coming in 8 different colours, such as Orange, Pink and Red for lovers of the bright and bold, moving on to Blue, Grey and Navy for those who prefer the safe hues. Are you looking for Black and White? Not a problem, Longchamp has made that available in the line-up as well. Priced at SGD570 each, the Mini Top-Handle Bag can be found at all boutiques islandwide, which includes ION Orchard, Marina Bay Sands, Paragon Shopping Centre and Takashimaya Department Store.
