Gucci has given a fresh new spin to its wildly popular GG logo, transforming it into a multi-coloured print with the addition of rainbow-hued stars that will immediately bring to mind the visual distortion and broad colour spectrums of 70’s psychedelia. Aside from a stunning (quite literally if you dress head-to-toe) line-up of RTW pieces, Gucci has also created plenty of leather goods for men and women, along with a couple of hard suitcases and trolley bags that double up as beautiful display pieces for the home. Not forgetting the sneakers and loafers which are sure to fly off the shelves the moment they land, coming in a wide range of sizes so the lovey-dovey couples who believe in heading out in matching pairs of shoes can get them just in time for Valentine’s Day.

If you need a detailed look at some of the leather goods, along with the prices in SGD, here goes. Prices start from SGD410 for the GG Psychedelic Card Case and SGD530 for the GG Psychedelic Small Wallet, going up to SGD1210 for the GG Psychedelic Pouch which comes with a detachable wristlet strap that offers an alternative way of carrying.

As for the bags, there’s a pretty good selection paired with leather trims in black, green or pink for an added touch of luxe. You can consider the GG Psychedelic Belt Bag (SGD1290) if you’re looking for a fuss-free piece that will fit just the right amount of essentials, or go for the GG Psychedelic Shoulder Bag (SGD1530) if you prefer having bags that come with a top-zip closure for that extra bit of security. Or how about the lovely GG Psychedelic Bucket Bag (SGD2560) with pink leather drawstring trims? The shoulder strap it comes with is adjustable to 5 different lengths, allowing you to carry the bag across the body or over the shoulder for varied looks.

At a time when the world needs a bit more colour and optimism, Gucci’s #GGPsychedelic collection could very well be the answer, considering they come in a bold and graphic hue that will hopefully bring a tad bit more joy to the everyday. The collection is part of the Italian luxury brand’s Spring-Summer 2020 launch, and will arrive in boutiques from 12 February 2020. However, you would like to view the full range up close in person, it’s best you head down to #GucciPin at ION Orchard, where a dedicated pop-up to all-things #GGPsychedelic will run from now till 26 March 2020.
