Chanel has always identified itself with 5 emblematic colours, Beige, Black, Gold, Red and White, all of which can be found extensively across its beauty, fashion, fine jewellery and haute couture selections over the years. And every once in awhile, the French luxury house mixes it up, with seasonal bold new hues for Spring-Summer 2020 setting the stage for selected bags and SLGs that will be made available from March 2020.

Some of these include these Chanel bags which you read about here, but the spotlight today falls on its siblings that are slightly wider (but shorter), measuring 20 cm by 17 cm and also referred to as the Mini Flap Bag. Yes, the bags come in two different sizes, one shorter but tall, the other wider but short; in other words, the ‘square’ (SGD4310) and the ‘rectangle’ (SGD4900). The plus point, though, lies in the colours they come in, from Dark Pink to Green to Orange, just to name a few, a bonus for those who always wanted a mini bag in bright hues.

The bright shades extend to SLGs as well, starting from the Classic Card Holder (SGD740) which is offered in a sweet Purple. Its snap button closure opens to a roomy compartment for a stack of cards or folded cash, along with an extra slot inside and another on the exterior. For something that can hold a tad bit more, you can opt for the Classic Small Flap Wallet which comes in several different formats and priced from SGD1120 to SGD1250, or simply go all out with the Classic Flap Wallet (SGD1240) in Baby Pink, featuring the lovely grained caviar leather that’s a Chanel signature through and through.
