Saint Laurent Christmas Capsule 2019 Collection

If you haven’t already noticed by now, Saint Laurent has been introducing annual capsule collections specially created for Christmas, and it’s no different this year. While last year’s selection was predominantly focused on black and gold bags with a sexy sultry edge, 2019 is all about the icy silver, evident in this beautiful trio that features bags constructed from lamé python-embossed leather.

Starting it all off would be the Kate Chain Wallet (SGD2340), which is a signature WOC-style over at Saint Laurent. Measuring 19 cm by 12.5 cm, this one opens to 6 card slots, a zippered coin pocket (also great for keys), and a full-length slot that’s perfect for cash and receipts. While the central compartment isn’t exactly the roomiest per se (it’s meant to be a fuss-free WOC after all), it will fit your mobile phone along with a lip balm and cushion compact. The best part? It comes with a metallic chain tassel right in front, providing extra flair and a bit of fun.

But if you’re looking for the bigger bags, that’s where the Cassandra Monogram Clasp Bag (SGD3660) and Sunset Small (SGD3060) come in. The Cassandra opens via a pivoting YSL fastening to two compartments, armed with multiple pockets within to keep you neat and organised. Measuring 22 cm by 16.5 cm, it’s also a great size for work, considering it will fit an iPad Mini with room to spare for a daily planner. The Sunset Small, on the other hand, is the perfect bag to take with you from day to night. Despite its size (19 cm by 13 cm), the bag opens to two accordion-like compartments that are built to hold loads within.

If you’re around town (ION Orchard and Marina Bay Sands), there’s no harm swinging by Saint Laurent to take a look and try them on. But if you’re all set on a piece in mind, you can always shop online here and have them shipped to you in perfectly wrapped SL boxes, no less.
