First set up by famed Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo some 15 years ago in Mayfair, London, along 17 Dover Street (and hence the name), and not in Tokyo as many would expect, Dover Street Market has since opened multiple locations around the world, including Beijing, Ginza, Los Angeles, New York and Singapore’s very own ‘certified-cool’ district at Dempsey Hill.

And to mark this momentous milestone, Dover Street Market has launched a special 15th Anniversary collection that revolves around the theme of black and white. You can expect to find limited designs created with some of DSM’s best-known collaborators like Nike, Sacai and Undercover (just to name a few), in the exclusive range known as #MONOCHROMARKET that will arrive in Singapore on 5 December 2019.
Some of the key pieces you can keep an eye out for include this trio above that you can wear for the complete DSM look. The tee’s created by Brian Donnelly of KAWS and features the signature Companion holding on to an oversized DSM tag, while Vans’ Authentic Sneakers come decorated in the iconic checkerboard print with DSM logos placed all over for a fun effect. As for the Pouch 20 from Bottega Veneta, that comes in a buttery soft leather that’s given a crinkle finish, with the cool extra being the Dover Street Market paper charm that’s hooked onto an accompanying leather strap.
And whilst there’s no word on the prices yet, you will be able to find up to 21 different brands up for sale in the 15th Anniversary #MONOCHROMARKET collection in-store, as well as over at DSMS E-Shop and DSMS E-Flash from 1100 hours on 5 December 2019.
