Diptyque Lucky Charms Holiday 2019 Collection

There may not be winter in Singapore (though today’s weather might let you think otherwise) but there is nothing like the burning of a decadent Diptyque candle to set the mood for Christmas. And for the Holiday 2019 collection, the French fragrance brand is delivering more than just scented delights. It is also sending luck, protection and harmony for the new year in the form of its Lucky Charms collection. The artfully designed line features festive work by artist Olaf Hajeck that is inspired by universal symbols relating to religious traditions, in particular auspicious charms such as the fortune cat, horseshoe, four-leaf clover and shooting star.

The standout pieces in the family would have to be the 3 botanically-inspired scents – Lucky Flowers (a spicy blend of rose, clove and aniseeds), Blissful Amber (amber, geranium and lavender blended with the softness of musk) and Protective Pine (a woody-aromatic mix of pine, cedar, basil and sage) – available as individual candles (SGD55 for 70 g or SGD100 for 190 g) or as a set of three 70 g candles for SGD160.

If you’re a fan of Diptyque’s pine scents, you won’t want to miss the Pine Protector Room Spray (SGD100 for 150 ml) which offers an alternative way to scent your space, and you will surely appreciate the set of 12 mini candles of pine (SGD230, 35 g each) that will take you back to every unique interpretation of pine that brand has created since 2007.

What’s interesting is also the Car Diffuser Set (SGD335), arguably one of the most elegant ones in the market. It uses an innovative system of cold diffusion to spread the notes of the scented cartridges through your ride and each set comes with 4 iconic scents, 34Baises, Roses, and Tuberose.

And if you’re in the market for stocking stuffers, there are also a handful of indulgent sets packed with mini perfumes and scented gestures for the face and body. With so many scented pleasures, you’ll want to pop by the Diptyque boutique at Takashimaya Shopping Centre (B1-33) to stock up on Christmas presents.
