Coach has been releasing numerous crossbody bags of late (hey, no one’s complaining), each piece offering a slightly different look from the other. There’s the Cassie Crossbody, which features a cute C twist-lock closure and opens to 3 accordion-like compartments, the Riley Convertible Belt Bag, one that scores big points in terms of versatility, and the super-chic Tabby 26, which is perfect for taking with you easily from day to night.
Today, an all-new style joins the family, the Kat Camera Bag which comes in a compact shape measuring 16 cm wide and 15.5 cm high, with a depth of approximately 6 cm that makes it a roomy enough for your daily essentials. The brand’s iconic horse-and-carriage motif doubles up as a buckle to the exterior open pocket, perfect for storing receipts and the like if you’re way too lazy to unzip the main compartment just for that.
What’s interesting about this piece (other than the fact that it’s constructed from a triple combination of buffalo-embossed, polished grain and soft calf leather) lies in the thick webbing shoulder strap that has a drop length of 59.5 cm, which is perfect for achieving that in-now crossbody look.
The thick canvas material is particularly refreshing thanks to the contrasting colours, and one that’s very much on-trend for the season as far as bags and accessories are concerned. Note that the strap is also removable, so you can always switch it up and place it on your existing Coach bags to give them an alternative look. Priced at SGD595 each, the Kat Camera Bag will be available in either Deep Red or Saffron (shown above), and will be launching at Coach boutiques islandwide real soon. Stay tuned!
