Senreve: Who They Are, Their Iconic Bag & The Pop-Up That’s Happening In SG

Senreve is a word derived from the French translation of the words sense (sens) and dream (rêver), one that Founder and CEO Coral Chung decided to take on when she launched her direct-to-consumer brand, Senreve, back in November 2016. Her quest of searching for the perfect everyday bag led her to the creation of the label’s current bestseller, the Maestra, a bag that was genuinely built with the multi-tasking woman in mind. And here’s why.

It comes with 8 different compartments to keep you neat and well organised. This includes perfectly sized pockets for your mobile device, cardholder, and even your favourite pair of sunnies and hand cream within the roomy micro-suede interior. Today, the bag comes in 3 different sizes, starting from the Mini which is frankly anything but small judging from how much you can actually fit within the 29 cm by 19 cm body. The next size up? That’s the Midi, which is slightly bigger at 33 cm by 22 cm and great for an iPad or 11-inch laptop. The biggest of them all would be the Regular (41 cm by 31 cm) that’s best for work, considering its central compartment is wide enough to fit your 15-inch MacBook.

Now, the other reason why the Maestra is such a popular piece lies in the fact that it can be worn in 5 different ways. The first two ways are straightforward, by means of slinging across the body or over the shoulder for a hands-free look.

The third (and fourth) way? Via the top handle like a mini tote, or simply slide the Maestra under your arm like a chic handbag. Last, but by no means least, the shoulder straps are equipped with two extra ring loops at the back, so you can go ahead and pull them all the way down to form two separate straps, allowing you to wear the Maestra like a backpack. Prices start from USD695 for the Mini Maestra in pebbled leather, going upward to USD795 and USD895 for the Midi and Regular respectively, all of which are available now over at Senreve’s online store.

Now, if you’re one to love viewing your bags up-close and trying them in person before committing to a purchase, here’s a piece of good news. Senreve will be having a pop-up with Perk by Kate from 16 to 23 November over at the latter’s store in 134A Telok Ayer Street (click here to RSVP). If you’re working in the CBD, you can always swing by during lunch hours to take a look at the Maestra, along with several other note-worthy bags from Senreve. Save the date!
