Loewe Architects Bag

Loewe is always pushing boundaries as far as its bags are concerned, and the launch of the all-new Architects Bag just pretty much proves that the Spanish luxury house has gone above and beyond yet again. Especially in a time when most others are just relying on their monograms to tickle their customers’ fancy, you could say Jonathan Anderson is having none of that and breaking out of the mould.

And speaking of mould, the Architects Bag is a structured, solid piece moulded after the alphabet A or D, finished with a cut-out that doubles up as the bag’s top handle. Each is hand-crafted by Loewe artisans who meticulous bond the calf leather onto the mould using precise and time-consuming techniques that ensure it retains a perfectly smooth and structured shape. And while it might look heavy, the bag is anything but, weighing more or less the same as the Puzzle Bag if you ever need a comparison.

Made without any zips, it comes with just two magnetic studs at the top opens to a roomy interior. It also comes with an additional shoulder strap which can be attached onto the rings located near the top handle, converting it into a chic crossbody bag. While both bags are classed under the same family, they come in different dimensions and are priced differently. Architects A (SGD5990) measures 21.5 cm by 17 cm, while Architects D (SGD5400) is slightly smaller at 16 cm by 12 cm.

Not available in local boutiques just yet, you can, however, go ahead and place an order online and have it shipped over to you within 1 to 5 working days. Just hit the link over here to choose between A and D, both of which come in two colour options like Black and Tan.
