Van Cleef & Arpels’ Alhambra is no stranger to you, identified by a beautiful four-leaf motif inspired by the clover leaf, fringed with an elegant beaded border that the Maison affectionately refers to as an emblem of luck. Today, the Alhambra family consists of several classifications like Lucky and Magic Alhambra pieces which feature butterflies, hearts or leaves in various colours and shapes, while the Sweet Alhambra comes in mini sizes for children or petite ladies.

The classic pieces, on the other hand, fall under the Vintage Alhambra range, which feature jewellery pieces that come in the four-leaf motif as seen on the very first Alhambra necklace created back in 1968.

Aside from earrings, necklaces, rings and watches, the timeless range includes the 5 Motifs Vintage Alhambra Bracelet, with the classic pieces featuring a gorgeous coloured stone set within the gold beaded border. Lovers of the bright and bold can turn to the versions which feature agate and carnelian, identified by a vibrant blue and fiery red respectively. The next two include the white mother-of-pearl that’s known for its satiny surface and quality lustre, as well as a jet-black onyx that contrasts beautifully against the yellow gold. Rounding up the lot would be malachite, identified by the lush opaque green with light and dark striations that’s a perfect nod to the four-leaf clover.

The good news is that the bracelets are part of the classic range (with the exception of blue agate), so you will be able to find them at your nearest Van Cleef & Arpels boutique in Singapore over at ION Orchard, Marina Bay Sands or Takashimaya Shopping Centre. And if you do need a price indication, they start from SGD5300 for the one in mother-of-pearl, well-priced for something that will eventually become a family heirloom.
