Mansur Gavriel isn’t new to brand collaborations, with limited-edition capsule collections launched from time to time, just like the partnership with famed artist Marc Camille Chaimowicz back in April 2019. Six months later, the duo (Rachel Mansur & Floriana Gavriel) have chosen to collaborate with the Calder Foundation and Hauser & Wirth gallery to feature several designs by famed artist Alexander Calder, printed onto 4 of Mansur Gavriel’s bestselling bags. Alexander Calder (1898 – 1976) was known for his abstract outdoor sculptures that were at the forefront of modern art, and these prints succinctly convey his work to perfection.

Aside from bags like the Attache, Large Tote and Mini Bucket Bag (everyday silhouettes that you are already very familiar with), the fourth design which stands out from the collection would be the Camello Circle Crossbody, a dressier option thanks to a sturdy top handle that it comes with. The circular body comes in a pretty roomy size that measures 20 cm at its widest, opening via a double zip closure to a beige canvas interior that will hold all your daily bits and bobs. The print gives a pop of colour to an otherwise clean leather exterior, with the icing on the cake being the detachable shoulder strap that gives you alternative ways of carrying it.

Priced at SGD1150, you will be able to find the bag on Mansur Gavriel’s online store, which offers complimentary shipping worldwide. And if you would like to take a peek at the other designs, simply hit this link to find out more.
