Dior Vertical Book Tote

With only weeks to go before Dior’s Cruise 2020 collection officially lands across boutiques in Singapore, it makes sense to sort out that want list, doesn’t it? For starters, you could consider the all-new version of Dior’s bestselling Book Tote, one that comes in a slimmer and taller profile that’s simply known as the Vertical Book Tote. Intrigued? Read on to find out the exact designs and prices it will come in.

Measuring 26 cm by 20 cm, the Vertical Book Tote introduced by Dior’s Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri is meant to be the perfect accompaniment to the current line-up, identified by a structured silhouette that’s reminiscent of a champagne/wine carrier/holder. Prints-wise, the Toile de Jouy makes a return for Cruise 2020, this time featuring seasonal variations of tarot motifs named after the Moon, Sun and Wheel of Fortune patterns. Each bag is also adorned with the Christian Dior signature in front, with an empty stripe at the back that’s a good indication that the Vertical Book Tote could be up for personalisation as well.

Now, on to the golden question. How much will it cost? In Singapore, the Vertical Book Tote with the fully embroidered tarot pattern (pictured above) will retail at SGD3800, which makes it the same price as the regular #DiorOblique Book Tote. The plus point? The petite size could also be your next best option for getting a smaller-sized Book Tote, since the much smaller sizes will not be coming in till January 2020 next year.
