Burberry Mini Monogram Stripe E-Canvas Pocket Bag

The Pocket Bag pretty much stole the limelight at Burberry’s Spring-Summer 2020 runway show, appearing on 2 of the opening looks worn by Mona Tougaard and Kendall Jenner, both of whom were carrying mini versions of the bag. You will also spot glimpses of the bigger Medium throughout the show, one of which comes in a Horseferry print and another in an oversized TB monogram pattern.

Now, the Pocket Bag isn’t exactly a brand new silhouette that will only be available in the upcoming season, because if you want to get in ahead of the (fashion) pack, you can get the one in Monogram Stripe E-Canvas, which is now available for sale over at Burberry’s online store over here.

The shape takes inspiration from an archival design, one that comes with reinforced leather top handles that is finished with an oval cut-out. The pocket bit comes in the form of an exterior flap compartment which will hold several bits and bobs, while everything else goes into the main body that measures 26.5 cm by 23 cm for the Mini. The Medium, on the other hand, is significantly larger at 41 cm by 37 cm, coming in the exact same silhouette and constructed from Burberry’s environmentally conscious e-canvas that’s made using renewable resources.

Both sizes come with a detachable shoulder strap which is always great for days when you feel like slinging the bag casually across the body. The other plus point about the Pocket Bag? Prices start from just SGD1520 for the Mini, going up to SGD2190 for the bigger Medium. Which is pretty well-priced for a truly functional bag from Burberry, and a silhouette that’s set to become the next IT-bag of the British luxury house for Spring-Summer 2020.
