Loewe F/W19 Cities Charms

Loewe has been releasing leather charms as part of its seasonal lineup for quite some time now, especially so with Jonathan Anderson on board as Creative Director of the Spanish luxury house. Previous seasons include a collection of insects that comprised quirky leather pieces shaped after beetles, grasshoppers and the like. Then there was the ocean-themed series featuring a crab, octopus and starfish, amongst others. Each charm came with a pair of googly-eyes that gave them even more personality, standing out from the run-of-the-mill versions that are a dime a dozen these days.

For Fall-Winter 2019, Loewe has launched an all-new series dedicated to cities of the world. Each charm comes shaped after an iconic element of that particular city, such as the hawthorn candies of Beijing and the fiery red chilli of Chengdu. Tokyo gets a playful nigiri charm, while New York is all about that hot dog bun finished with a dash of mustard. Not forgetting Madrid and Paris, depicted by churros and chocolate, and a croissant respectively.

All in all, there are a total of 8 charms, which you can now check out at the Loewe boutiques, or purchase them online by hitting the link over here. Priced at SGD550 each, they aren’t exactly cheap, but considering they are crafted in full calfskin and super cute to boot, why not?
