If you’re wondering why you didn’t spot this piece on Longchamp’s online site, that’s because it’s part of the exclusive Pliage Du Monde range that has recently launched in selected boutiques worldwide, each coming with the respective city’s name printed diagonally across the front of the bag.
The limited-edition piece comes in the exact same dimensions as the Le Pliage Travel Bag L (45 cm by 35 cm), with Singapore’s version rendered in a blue nylon body and furnished with black leather handles, front flap and side trims that’s both cool and graphic. Priced at SGD245 each (which is pretty reasonable considering the classic colours are priced at SGD190), the bag is available only at the Longchamp boutique in Marina Bay Sands.
However, if you fancy something smaller that you can use like a chic clutch, there’s also a zipped pouch that’s available for sale, printed with the same ‘Singapore’ and ‘Longchamp’ text diagonally across and priced at SGD125. Just a quick question though. Why the blue stripes but not red?
