A-Cold-Wall* ‘Hardware’ Utility Case

Streetwear, as you know, has risen steadily over the years to become the new cool, and with it has come an entire generation of designers that have charged to the forefront of this movement in recent times. Off-White’s Virgil Abloh, for example, was recently appointed as Artistic Director for menswear at Louis Vuitton, while several designers like Francesco Ragazzi (previously Creative Director of Moncler) and Matthew Williams are fronting their own labels Palm Angels and 1017 ALYX 9SM respectively.

For a relatively new brand like A-Cold-Wall*, their narrative seems to be centred around those signature crossbody canvas utility bags, but the label has been churning out all-new designs season after season to commercial success. One of which includes the ‘Hardware’ Utility Case above, one that Samuel Ross recently introduced in a new shade of vibrant Blue (it was previously available only in Grey) for Fall-Winter 2019.

Essentially a rigid case made from reinforced plastic that’s laser-etched with the ‘HARDWARE’ motif and ACW logo in front, it measures 45 cm by 33 cm. Open it via the two black tabs and use it like a briefcase to store A4 documents, or simply carry it like an everyday bag. Priced at GBP412 each (get in early as the pound hits an all-new low), you should purchase it now and have it shipped to Singapore for an additional GBP25.
