This won’t be the first time you’d have seen a pink Keepall at Louis Vuitton, but it is definitely the first time for a pink and translucent piece courtesy of Virgil Abloh for the French luxury house. Part of his F/W19 collection that should be arriving on our shores come August 2019, this bag, along with some others will be launched together, is collectively known as Monogram SeeThrough.

So why is it see through? Well, it’s made primarily of mesh, and a thick one at that, with LV’s iconic monogram patterns embroidered onto it. Weighing much less than your regular coated-canvas ones, the mesh isn’t as fragile or thin as one would think, although if the abuse is real, anything will fall apart so do apply common sense, please. Measuring 50 cm by 29 cm by 23 cm (yes, it is a Keepall50 after all), the handles, trim and even the base is leather, all finished with a removable sling, leather name tag and the usual trimmings.
Priced at SGD5200, it will come in your standard black on black and the bright pink one that’s shown above. And for those are asking if it will come in the Speedy, the sad news is no. Well, not yet, anyway.
