You’ve seen and read about #Longchampxnendo’s Circle here, and there’s another curious design in the limited-edition line-up that’s worthy of a shoutout. Coined the Cone, it is literally shaped like an upside down ice cream cone that’s furnished with an elongated top handle.

It’s a curious piece simply because the cone-shaped leather upper contains a fully usable nylon bag contained within, one that can be pulled out and used like a bag. When it’s placed fully flat, the bag is almost triangle (with a cute rounded base), armed with a central zip running down the middle that will house essentials securely within. It’s an absolute head-turner for sure, a unique piece that’s different from the classic designs in the Le Pliage family of bags, which Japanese design studio nendo has completely redesigned by playing with the principles of katachi.

The Cone comes in two sizes, Small (SGD190) which measures 17 cm by 15.5 cm, and a significantly bigger version, Large (SGD230) that comes in wider and taller at 36 cm by 27.5 cm. The versions in nylon come in colours like Blue/White, Burgundy/Black, Grey/White, Pink/White, Taupe/Black and Yellow/Black, but if you’re a fan of a full leather piece, there’s a black one in Small (SGD720) that comes in Le Pliage Cuir.
