With generations worth of artisanal expertise at his fingertips, Salvatore Ferragamo’s Creative Director Paul Andrew has launched an all-new handbag that’s made of quality materials and fine craftsmanship, with the icing on the cake being its sleek design and silhouette that will appeal to the modern and sophisticated lady of today.
It’s coined the boxyz (pronounced boxy) bag, with ‘xyz’ referring to three generations (Gen X to Z) to emphasise its timeless appeal, one that can be carried by anyone and everyone no matter your age. Apart from its eye-catching trapezoid silhouette, the bag can be easily identified by its shiny Gancini hardware that doubles up as a fastening mechanism on the front flap. Just lift the iconic horseshoe logo up and you will find a roomy interior, with an extra zippered pocket that’s great if you need extra security.

The other plus point about the boxyz bag lies in its versatility, one that’s offered in 3 sizes starting with a Mini that comes in at 17.5 cm by 17.5 cm. It’s compact, cute and holds just about your absolute essentials, but if you’re one to carry bigger items like an iPad or your favourite insulated water bottle on a daily basis, you can consider the Medium or Large that measures 22 cm by 20 cm and 27 cm by 23 cm respectively.
Functionality aside, the boxyz bag is also big on privacy, coming with a unique lock and key so your personal contents will never be compromised. Of course, if you do not wish to lock your bag on a daily basis, you can always hang the key off the top handle like a cute leather charm. Now available across Salvatore Ferragamo boutiques islandwide, the boxyz bag is priced from SGD2550 to SGD3390 for the respective sizes in calf leather, going up to SGD8290 for the exclusive pieces in an exotic lizard skin. With 10 different colours (ranging from a bright and bold Absinthe Green to a discreet Black) to choose from, there’s definitely something for everyone.
