For years, La Mer has been supporting ocean conservation projects around the world. This comes as no surprise as the brand has always had close ties to the sea. Its founder, Dr. Max Huber, an aerospace physicist, suffered severe burns in a lab explosion and spent the next decade creating an elixir that could heal his wounds and rid all evidence of the accident. After experimenting with a variety of sea kelp found in the ocean, the legendary Crème de la Mer was born.

Since then, La Mer’s products have been inspired by the renewing potential of the ocean and its formulas continue to be powered by its nutrient-rich Miracle Broth, which contains sustainably hand-harvested sea kelp.

This year, in commemoration of its Blue Heart Oceans Fund that safeguards marine habitats, the luxury beauty brand has launched a limited-edition Blue Heart Crème de la Mer collectable jar adorned with a shimmering motifs of sea kelp and coral. The celebrated cream, which needs no introduction, is priced at SGD780 for 100 ml and is now available to shop at all La Mer counters in Singapore.
