Furla Mimi Crossbody In Shiny Vegetal Leather

Launched back in January 2018, Furla’s Mimi is no stranger, a crossbody bag that has become an evergreen classic for the Italian leather goods house. It comes in a rectangular flap bag silhouette that’s easy on the eye, with a minimally furnished exterior finished with a simple push clasp.

This June, Furla is introducing an all-new material to the Mimi bag line-up, a shiny vegetal leather that has a crinkled, vintage-looking finish. Not only is it thicker (and thus stronger) than the current textured leather versions, the coated finish gives it extra resistance to water and scratches, making it the perfect fuss-free piece. Besides, the crinkled effect gives the bag extra character, paired with gunmetal grey (ruthenium) hardware for a cool look-and-feel that stands out from the classic gold-tone pieces.

Now, if you need a little recap on the sizes (because you’re way too lazy to click the link above), the Mimi is available in Small (SGD785) and Mini (SGD660), which measure 24 cm by 16 cm and 20 cm by 13 cm respectively. Both sizes are compact pieces that can be slung easily across the body, or looped twice and worn under the arm for an alternative look. The Mimi Crossbody in shiny vegetal tanned leather comes in colours like Cotone (Beige), Onyx (Black), Pervinca (Blue) or Ribes (Red) and is now available across Furla boutiques islandwide for your perusal. Looking for an all-new bag that comes under the SGD800 mark? This could be it.
