Monsieur Christian Dior is known to have always kept lucky charms with him wherever he travelled, several of which have been translated into an entire catalogue of charms and trinkets which you can choose and customise to your hearts content in the My ABCDior service launched earlier this year. And to add on to what you already might have, here are even more fashion jewellery offerings from its Fall-Winter 2019 collection bearing a similar theme of all things charm-related.
In the Dio(r)evolution Brooch, you will be able to find 5 different elements hanging from a bold DIOR logo. A four-leaf clover, bee, star, the number ‘8’ and a ‘CD’ logo, all of which pay tribute to the legendary couturier’s cluster of charms that he kept by his pocket at all times. Simply pin the badge to the lapel of your jacket for that instant update. For something a little tongue-in-cheek, go for the Dior Lucky Square Brooch, one that mimics a typical six-sided dice, coming in a long pin format that works well with formal outfits like a crisp white shirt.
Two other pieces feature a giant J’ADIOR logo embellished with white crystals for a modern and contemporary edge. The first comes with a five-pointed star (the couturier almost tripped over one lying on the ground, something which spurred him to open his now legendary house), while the other is finished with a giant bee (a metaphor for the ateliers at 30 Avenue Montaigne who worked like busy bees), both of which hang delicately from their respective brooches.
Priced from SGD560 each, all 4 designs are now available at Dior boutiques in Singapore. Which have you got your eye on?
