Goyard Rouette Bag

It has been a while since Goyard introduced a new handbag. Sure, there’s a selection of totes (Saint Louis XXL), backpacks like the Saint Leger, the Minaudière Clutch, and even messengers (remember the Capetien?) released in recent months, but never a bag bag like the classic 233 or bowler-shaped Vendome.

Until now.

Take a look at Goyard’s latest creation, the Rouette, an all-new handbag that comes in a single size, measuring 30 cm at its widest and 24 cm high. It’s honestly a sizeable piece that will fit all your daily essentials, with a depth of 14 cm that’s great for some of your bigger items like a notebook or iPad. There’s even a slip pocket tucked on the inside, one that’s great for storing your cardholder and other important bits.

The other great part about the Rouette lies in its ease of use. Lift the magnetic flap up and you will be able to access everything within hand’s reach. Loop the straps twice and you’ve got a chic handbag that can be hung easily over the shoulder. Or, keep the strap long and it becomes a handy crossbody bag that’s great for days when you want to keep your hands free.

It also helps that the bag is a new design that was only released in Paris late April 2019, and arrived on our shores a couple of weeks back. In other words, if you’re all for a cool Goyard handbag that the majority of other Singaporeans have yet to own, this could be it. Priced at SGD2660 for the basic colours (Black or Black/Tan) and SGD3460 for everything else (including the Grey above), the bag is now available at Goyard’s standalone boutique in Singapore over at Takashimaya Shopping Centre.

Hello, the bag looks very nice. Would you know how much the Goyard Rouette costs in Italy because I plan to go to Italy in August?

I’m sorry but I don’t have their EURO prices on hand, but it will definitely be at least 20% lower plus or minus after the tax rebate as well.
