Burberry officially unveiled its #ThomasBurberryMonogram Collection on 22 May, an entire range dedicated to the new house code which features a set of interlocking TB logos together with additional stripes overlay for a graphic look. It’s a collection that’s made for everyone, featuring RTW pieces for him and her (including pieces for the young ones), with a pretty good selection of bags and accessories to boot. What’s particularly interesting is the fact that the bags aren’t made entirely of leather (save for the trims and handles), nor are they made from coated canvas (found on the previous vintage check pattern) that you might be familiar with.
In fact, they are constructed from an environmentally conscious e-canvas that consists of renewable resources requiring less water to produce and generates less carbon dioxide than regular coated canvas. Made from 75% thermoplastic polyurethane and 25% cotton, e-canvas is Burberry’s approach to cleaner and greener fashion, starting with its accessories, bags and sneakers in the #ThomasBurberryMonogram collection.

A noteworthy piece in the bag line-up would be the Monogram Stripe E-Canvas Zip Pouch (SGD860), a slim pouch measuring 30 cm by 20 cm that’s furnished with a slip pocket and 6 card slots on the interior. It’s a handy accessory that can be carried on its own, or you can always get creative and attach a leather loop to the ring at the side and you’ve got yourself a nice and chic wristlet.
If you’re a fan of bigger-sized bags, there are plenty of designs ranging from a cool bum bag to a crossbody camera bag, with the largest of them all being a barrel bag and tote bag that measure 46 cm by 24.5 cm and 43 cm by 35 cm respectively. The entire #ThomasBurberryMonogram collection comes in tonal shades of beige and vintage oak, easy neutral colours that are prefect for the everyday.
