That Baby Shark song or Finding Nemo movie must have been playing on repeat in Tod’s design studio when the creative team were designing micro bags for the Spring-Summer 2019 leather goods line-up. And with several designs like a fish (hello Nemo!), flamingo, shark or whale in dual colour combinations, you are spoilt for choice when it comes to picking just one to be your summer companion.

And while it may be labelled a micro bag, it isn’t exactly tiny, considering it measures 16.5 cm by 12 cm, comparable to a compact camera bag. Roomy enough for several key essentials, each piece comes furnished with its very own maxi zip pull that complements the respective animal (flamingo’s wing, shark’s tail, you get the idea), giving it extra points in terms of cuteness overload.

Carry it casually over the shoulder (thanks to an adjustable chain strap that measures 120 cm) or wear it across the body for that hands-free look; you can even remove the sling and just it as a clutch. The good news? Flamingo and Shark are now available in Singapore, but Nemo has yet to arrive.  Priced at SGD1260 each, the price is decent too, you just have to wait till Nemo is found if you really want the Clownfish bag. Get it, get it? Never mind.
