Yes, it’s true. Dior will be a releasing a smaller version of their now iconic Book Tote come May 2019, and it’s truly an adorable piece to add to any collection whether you have the existing bag or not. Known as the Small Book Tote, it is around one-third smaller than the original, coming in at 36.5 cm by 28 cm. Compare that with the original’s size (41.5 by 32 cm) and you’ll realise the difference.
To be launched in Monogram Oblique in 2 colours (Bordeaux and Navy), along with versions in full leather as well as Diorscopic (that’s Dior’s take on anything kaleidoscopic), there’s no word on the prices yet so do stay tuned for more updates. Though if you really need something to gauge against, it was selling in Tokyo for ¥250,000.
