Grown tired of your beloved collection of Supreme skateboards? Well, Chanel’s got one specially created for Spring-Summer 2019, crafted from lacquered wood that features the brand’s signature quilted pattern on the underside. Priced at USD7700, this is definitely not for the faint-hearted, but a piece that’s frankly to be considered a collector’s item than an actual skateboard you’ll actually use on the streets.

This isn’t exactly the first time Chanel is releasing surfboards (they previously released a couple back in 2010 and in 2015), but if you missed out on that, or have been spending the good 9 (or 4) years saving up for one, here’s your chance. No, this is not a hoax.

The Parisian luxury house is releasing the mother of all surfboards (a piece that Marvel’s Silver Surfer would probably want for himself), one made of aluminium, glass and polyurethane body that sounds way sexy just by reading out aloud. As with all limited-edition Chanel accessories, the surfboard’s price is only available upon request in Singapore, but a quick check overseas shows that it is up for sale in the United States for some USD8900.

Both the skateboard and the surfboard are finished with the interlocking CC logo, and should be available in Singapore by end-March, but there’s always no harm checking in now if you really want one (or both) of these. Here’s another pro-tip. Get them to show you other Spring-Summer 2019 goodies from Chanel at the same time, so you can make your selection weeks in advance before everyone else does.
