Burberry’s highly anticipated Spring-Summer 2019 collection has finally arrived in stores (and online), a stellar lineup that includes an interesting mix of edgy RTW pieces, chic and sharp tailoring for both men and women, along with a stellar array of bags and accessories. The star of the show? It’s the Leather TB Bag which comes in a wide selection of colours and sizes to choose from.

Made up of smooth leather flap bags that are finished with a shiny TB Monogram clasp, a reference to the initials of the luxury house’s founder, Thomas Burberry, the colours they come in range from single-tone hues like Black, Crimson and Dark Brown, as well as lighter shades like Camel, Honey and Pink. A selection of bi-coloured bags are also available, like the Beige/Black and the Black/Brown, as well as tri-coloured pieces that come with a long metal chain sling.

A structured bag that can be worn on the shoulder, cross-bodied, or even as a clutch with the shoulder strap removed, it comes in 2 sizes for now, the Small (SGD3290, 21 cm by 16 cm) and the Medium (SGD3690, 25.5 cm by 18.5 cm). Both sizes open to two main compartments and come furnished with a front slip pocket and another back interior zip pocket.

Now, if you fancy a contemporary take, look out for the belted versions (priced from SGD1950) that are meant to be worn like a bum bag high on the waist or adjusted low on the hip. Measuring 17 cm by 12.5 cm, these tinier versions also feature the TB Monogram clasp, and open by the exact same mechanism (press the end of the TB clasp down and lift the flap up) to a single roomy compartment.

A point worth noting is that every piece in the TB Bag range comes in full leather, with the exterior in calfskin and the interior in lambskin. Made in Italy, you can expect nothing but the best in craftsmanship and quality when it comes to these beauties. Now available online via Burberry, you could also head to their boutiques in Singapore (ION Orchard, Marina Bay Sands or Paragon Shopping Centre), where they are also available.
