Bulgari: Celebrating 20 Years Of The Iconic B.Zero1

Bulgari may be 135 years old, but the luxury watch and jewellery brand has (and still is) always focused on defying conventional notions on jewellery design, such as the groundbreaking B.zero1 collection that was inspired by the shape and contours of Rome’s Colosseum. The jewellery pieces are crafted using the special Tubogas method, in which long, thin strips of gold are wrapped and interlaced without any soldering, before they are finished with flat rings at the top and bottom emblazoned with the BVLGARI BVLGARI logo.

This year, the B.Zero1 celebrates its 20th anniversary, a collection that continues to break all barriers since its official release in 1999. Since its inception, the much-loved icon has also seen its fair share of collaborations with creatives like the sculptor Sir Anish Kapoor and the late architect Dame Zaha Hadid in two stellar collections. Another important milestone? More than 2 million pieces of the B.zero1 rings have been sold worldwide. Which is no mean feat for a collection that’s just 20 years young.

The key jewellery pieces to keep an eye out for in the 20th anniversary collection would be the original 5-band B.zero1 ring that’s been reissued specially for the collection, coming in an all-new pink gold (SGD3120) version, along with pieces in white gold (SGD3300) and yellow gold (SGD3120). And of course, there are also collector’s exclusives such as the 5-band ring (SGD15,450) that’s rendered in a full solid white gold and adorned with sparkling pavé diamonds. All 4 designs will come engraved with XX Anniversary engraved on the inner band, which makes them truly coveted pieces.

Look out for new versions of the B.zero1 Design Legend rings that come in pink gold and white ceramic (SGD3290), as well as pink gold and black ceramic (SGD3540). An icon then, an icon today, the B.zero1 20th Anniversary collection is now available across Bulgari boutiques islandwide. And if you haven’t visited the all-new ION Orchard boutique, there’s no better time than now.
