When news first broke out back in August 2018 that Chanel was dedicating an entire grooming line to men, everyone (well fine, maybe mostly the boys) went a little crazy and couldn’t wait to get their hands on them. Coined Boy de Chanel, the range that’s identified by the sexy midnight blue packaging is set to launch on 25 January at Chanel’s Fragrance & Beauty Boutique in ION Orchard first, with 3 must-have essentials making their debut.

First up, Le Baume Lèvres (SGD55), a matte moisturising lip balm that’s filled with natural goodness like jojoba oil, shea butter and Vitamin E, leaving your lips smooth and hydrated for up to 8 hours at a go. Then, there’s Le Stylo Sourcils (SGD62), an eyebrow pencil created to define and fill out the brow line to sheer perfection. Finished with natural flexible waxes and emollient oils for easy application, the waterproof formula will stay comfortably on for 8 hours. Le Stylo Sourcils will come in 4 different shades: 202 Light Brown, 204 Grey, 206 Deep Brown and 208 Black.

Rounding up the lot there’s Le Teint (SGD144), a tinted fluid (otherwise known as foundation) which comes in a lightweight texture that’s invisible to the eye and promises to resist excess sweat and sebum. Giving you a renewed look of energy and an all-round natural complexion, it comes with SPF25 and kalanchoe extract (known for its hydrating and antioxidant properties). The formula will protect you from free radicals and oxidative stress, leaving you a luminous skin that’s perfectly shine-free. Similarly, there are 4 shades to look out for come launch day: N°20 Light, N°30 Medium Light, N°40 Medium and N°50 Medium.

While ION Orchard will get first dibs on the launch on 25 January, all the other Chanel Fragrance & Beauty boutiques will launch the collection on 1 February. Just in time for you to look fresh and well-groomed come Lunar New Year.
