Versace’s Chain Reaction is one genius of a sneaker that has all the codes of the Italian luxury house woven into one. The Medusa head? Sculpted right at the back of the heel tabs. The Greca lace cage, midsole detailing and meander-patterned toe are all familiar motifs that provide a nice touch, found at different parts of the sneaker. As for the oversized chain sole? Well, that’s a nod to Versace’s signature chain-link jewellery, which can seen in its full glory when viewed from the underside.

Not to forget the mix of materials it comes in, leather, neoprene, rubber and suede, which also explains why the sneaker was able to come in a plethora of contrasting colours and prints in the 2Chainz x Versace Chain Reaction collaboration released back in April this year.
