For those who don’t already know, Goyard is one designer house that doesn’t have a fixed selection of bags and SLGs all year round. Neither do they follow seasons like other luxury houses do; instead they launch new things as and when they like, which makes keeping track of what comes out even harder.
In other words, it is always a treat when you walk into a Goyard boutique. Besides evergreen classics like the Saint Louis, you might spot something new, like this bag that has been updated into something different altogether this year. No, this isn’t the Sainte Lucie, but the new and improved Saint Leger, which now comes with a pair of backpack straps as well.
Like its predecessor, the bag can be folded easily for storage, which means you can now sling this beauty over either shoulder (or both, for that matter) and you’re good to go. Or, you could be all traditional and carry it the way it originally was, via its single top handle.
While the Saint Leger scores high in terms of function, you will be surprised to find that it’s priced almost the same as the Saint Lucie. Coming in at SGD3050 for basic colours (Black and Tan) and SGD3970 for special hues like Grey (pictured above), this bag is now available at Goyard’s stand-alone boutique within Takashimaya Shopping Centre.
