And that has happened in this holiday collaboration between Japanese cosmetics label shu uemura and Parisian chocolatier La Maison du Chocolat.

While pieces in the collection aren’t edible, they do come in chocolatey shades that promise to smell heavenly. Expect to find a range of beauty products that predominantly revolve around darker shades, with coloured lipsticks (SGD38) carrying names like Hazelnut Ganache and an entire eye palette (SGD98) named Dark Cacao that’s reminiscent of an entire assortment of delicious pralines.

If you’re looking for brighter tones, you will be able to find classic reds and pinks, with lipsticks like Cassis Berry and Ripe Cherry. All in all, the collection ranges from SGD30 for the premium eyelash curler that looks like it has been dipped in chocolate, right up to SGD165 for a 450 ml bottle of their signature cleaning oil.

For those keen on getting something totally exclusive or a great holiday gift, there’s two to keep an eye out for. The Ganache & Praline Premium Brush Coffret Set (SGD125) comes with 4 makeup brushes (cheek, face, eye shadow and eyebrow) wrapped up in a handy gold pouch.
