Opening Ceremony Chinatown Tote

The use of checkered prints found on ‘Chinatown totes’ isn’t exactly a new concept per se, having been interpreted by everyone from Marc Jacobs during his tenure at Louis Vuitton to Phoebe Philo’s at Céline. And while these designer options aren’t exactly available anymore (unless you include Balenciaga’s vertical striped Bazar Tote, which isn’t quite the same), Opening Ceremony has a piece at a price point that’s way too good to resist.

Measuring 53 cm across and 25 cm in height, their Chinatown Tote in coated textile features a blue, red and white check on the front, and black, red and white on the other. Both sides feature Opening Ceremony’s logo appliqué and the bag is furnished with a top zipper, making it interesting as well as functional.

How much? Just USD30, or around SGD42 after conversion, now available over at SSENSE. Grab a friend or two to save on shipping, check out and you will have a new bag in no time at all. Or just get a load because they will make great Christmas gifts as well. #happyshopping
