This isn’t the 2.55, the Classic Flap or even the Gabrielle, but if you look hard enough, you’ll see enough signatures from all 3 that appear on this bag from Chanel’s Fall-Winter 2018 collection. For example, there’s the CC logo, the use of quilted leather, even the blend of different materials (in this case leather and tweed) which all 3 icons have used in some way or other. Known simply as the Hobo Handbag, it is also a completely different style from the above-mentioned trio, a bag that’s actually more a shoulder that’s not only easy on the eyes, but gets high marks for function too.

Available in 2 sizes (35 cm by 24 cm by 13 cm and 43 cm by 26 cm by 16 cm), it is one roomy bag, made even better by the fact that both sizes come with a zip pocket on the front that’s finished with Chanel’s signature logo in gold-tone hardware. Need the strap to be longer, or shorter? Simply adjust by way of the gold stud buttons and you can wear it most anyway you like. And because it comes in aged leather that’s finished with tweed, the bags are pretty well priced by the French luxry house’s standards, SGD5520 for the smaller one, SGD6180 for the slightly taller (and larger) one.
